Our mission is to enable individuals of all ages to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life within their homes and communities. With the help of a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the founders used the Parish Nurse Program as a model in developing the organization. Community Caregivers provides non-medical support services to those in need. Services are offered to residents of the Albany County Towns of Guilderland, Bethlehem, New Scotland, Berne and Knox and the City of Albany in upstate New York. We support family caregivers with education, resources and, for some, respite from caregiving.
