Local Company Donates 200 sets of blankets, hats and gloves to area shelters
Alliance for Better Health Care, LLC, a collaborative organization facilitating the transformation of the Medicaid health care delivery system in six counties of upstate New York, donated 200 bags of hats, gloves and blankets on Friday to shelters in Troy, Albany and Schenectady in anticipation of a Code Blue weekend.
“This is our community. These are our neighbors. On this, the coldest weekend of the year, we are happy to be able to do our part to keep our community healthy, safe and warm,” said Erin Simao, Transformation Specialist at Alliance for Better Health Care.
