As chief operating officer at Alliance for Better Health, Amy S. Bloom, MPH aligns strategy and operations to ensure the right people are working on the right projects to achieve Alliance’s mission and goals. For Amy, it is most important to foster a creative, thoughtful, and meaningful work environment.
Amy has worked in upstate New York for over 10 years in project and program management at a variety non-profit organizations, where she led change management and operational re-organization initiatives. Prior to this, she worked in health care and IT in the Boston area. Amy holds a Master of Public Health from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Haverford College. In addition to her role at Alliance, she teaches at Clarkson University in the Health Care MBA and Bioethics programs.
Amy sees Alliance as a magnet for innovation, creativity and energy among the organization’s staff and partners; with the culture of a start-up in the evolving industry of healthcare.
